The Philadelphia Suzuki Piano Academy offers quality, individualized instruction in classical piano for ages three through teens, including piano improvisation classes for students of all ages.



The Philadelphia Suzuki Piano Academy is a small institution dedicated to fostering the personal growth of each individual student while maintaining the highest standards of excellence in musical training and piano performance.

We offer a comprehensive program of Suzuki Piano study, as well as classes in improvising and composing. Located in “University City” in West Philly, the Academy draws students from throughout Greater Philadelphia and surrounding areas.

First Steps is a program whereby children ages 1 to 3 and an accompanying adult caregiver get a head start by observing unlimited lessons. Enrolled families get individual consultation with our teachers and learn tips for getting the best possible beginning in the Suzuki Method. Come learn how the Suzuki philosophy works! Beginners’ Suzuki Piano Groups prepare children ages 3 to 6 and an adult caregiver for beginning Suzuki piano lessons. The gentle and fun-filled beginners' groups provides a smooth transition into the core music program. Groups are scheduled according to families’ and teachers’ availability.

Comprehensive Suzuki Piano Program with individual lessons, classes and recitals is our core program. Students who have taken the Beginners’ Class may register for individual lessons and take advantage of the full range of classes and activities offered.
